Why Ghana? The Church of Christ located in the capitol, services many different ministries like for the Deaf, Water Well drilling, Collegiate ministries, and Heritage Bible School. Moreover, the Village of Hope (www.thevillageofhope.com). serves over 250 orphans. The team desires to serve these orphans by demonstrating Christ's love and the message of hope. 3. What is the Good News? We believe that everyone in every nation needs to know their Creator and Lord, Jesus Christ. "For God so loved the world, that he gave His one only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life," John 3:16. Being physically and spiritually broken, our life is incomplete. Jesus is the giver of life, where God's greatest plan is for this world to be fully restored and redeemed, so that one day we may be reunited with our Maker. God's desires to see no one perish, but to come to know and love their Father through Jesus Christ. 4. How are you helping in Serve Ghana 2011? When you make a contribution of any size you will also receive a bag of sweets as your charity will help support the mission team to Ghana and the ministries and services that will impact the orphans. |
